Being submissive doesn’t mean being someone’s doormat. It doesn’t mean you are weak. It means you are strong enough to know your desires, strong enough to let go of control. Being submissive isn’t easy, and it isn’t for the weak.
A submissive has a mental strength to overcome and override the natural instincts that people possess. To entrust themselves totally to another, either in a sexual or otherwise fashion. To be used for whatever purpose (within safe agreed limits – SSC and RACK apply), at the whims of the Dom(me).
I’m in the process of learning more about this – being somewhat ‘naturally’ submissive, to be at the mercies of my keyholder, to do as she pleases. It’s rather hard and a massive learning curve for me.
